  • Ford F-150 Leveling Kits: Ford F-150 leveling kits can raise the front of your pickup by about 1.5 to 2.5 inches. Some leveling kits include short rear lift blocks for the rear leaf spring suspension to maintain the stock stance. A leveling kit will allow you add slightly larger tires—about 33 inches in diameter. Leveling kits are best for daily driving, towing, and light off-roading. 
  • Ford F-150 Lift Kits: Ford F-150 lift kits increase supssension clearance at all four corners form 3 to 12 inches, which allows for 35-inch or larger tires. These lift kits are for the hardcore off-roader. Lift kits are best for mud, sand, snow, and heavy-duty off-roading. 

Price & Installation

Ford F-150 leveling kits are less expensive than Ford F-150 lift kits. Typically, the cost of a leveling kit is somewhere around $100 to $250 before installation. If you’re lifting your Ford F-150 truck, you can expect to pay around $1,000 to $4,000 and sometimes more before installation, depending on the ride quality and height you want. The cost of new wheels and larger trire are all additional. Professional installation is recommended for both leveling kits and lift kits, although those with mechanical experience should be able to install some of the more basic kits. A suspension alignment after is also required after installation.
